This collection of Copper Bird Feeder was born after many questions about copper patination. Copper goes verdigris after prolonged exposure to moisture. It can take 20 years or more in dry climate for it to patinate.
We decided to accelerate the process with chemicals in our studio. We make different colours, from a deep blue to the well-known verdigris. This process is handmade, and different every time we do it, which makes every piece unique.
